Training and professional qualifications

Born in Genoa on 5th May 1958, Giorgio GIORGI graduated with honors in Law in 1983.
He attended the course Town and Country Planning at Jesus College, Cambridge University (UK).
Solicitor since 1985, Giorgio GIORGI became a lawyer in 1991 and since 1997 he has been on the register of the attorney in the Superior Jurisdictions.

According to the ministerial decree 30 march 2000, n. 162, he got the qualification necessary to be appointed member of the board of auditors of a listed company.

He is an experienced auditor for the DG XVII (Environment) of the EU Committee, and he is going to get the qualification of Arbitrator of the Arbitration Board of the Supervisory Authority on Public Works.

Foreign Languages: written and spoken professional English, intermediate spoken Spanish, and intermediate spoken French.

Professional Experiences

• Consultancy and judicial activity in contractual, corporate and banking fields;
• Corporate - Legal Due Diligences for the banking and financial system;
• MBO operations and, in general, operations of Private Equity and Real Estate;
• Legal advice for Public Bodies, commercial and industrial companies;
• Consultancy and judicial activity in the administrative field with a particular attention to the creation of acts requiring complex procedures, and an activity of urban and administrative conciliation.

Recently, to these traditional activities he added the study for the optimization of complex property managements through the Italian Trust.

• 2006 – member of the board of directors of FINCANTIERI S.p.A.
• 2006 – member of the board of directors of “Marinella” S.p.A. – A company entirely owned by the group Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A.
• Member of the board of advisor of GA Immobiliare, a Finmeccanica S.p.A. real estate company
• Member of the organs of administration of both public and private bodies such as F.I.L.S.E. S.p.A., a financial company controlled by the Region Liguria and registered to the list of the subjects working in the financial field ex art. 106 of the decree law 385/1993.
